Thank you all so much for your generous donations! In total, I was able to raise approximately $5000 equivalent to ₹250,000. Thanks to all of your donations the AIM for SEVA Amreli Hostel will be installing a solar power system.

I started 2019 by visiting the children at the hostel in Amreli on January 1st. Not only did my Nani and I get to see the hostel but we also got to host a lunch and see the school that the students attend. We got to feed the cows that they have there to provide milk for the boys! We were so fortunate to also hear a short lecture given by Swamiji Nityasudhananda and receive his blessings. It was amazing to hear the boys as they chanted Sanskrit prayers before lunch.

I am so excited that this sponsorship will be able to cover the expenses of the solar power system, making the hostel more self-sustaining. I am very grateful for your participation and donations in helping the funding of my initiative.

Visiting India was such an incredible experience. My favourite part of the trip was eating all the delicious food and roaming around in Mumbai. This trip has made me realize how fortunate I am and how important it is to give to those who may not have the same luxuries and opportunities that all of us have.
